Events with Alain Aspect in Rome and Naples
The 2013 Balzan Prizewinner for Quantum Processing Information and Communication and 2022 Nobel Laureate in Physics has given lectures in Rome and Naples, organised in collaboration with the International Balzan Foundation.
On 18 May, at Palazzo Farnese, the French Embassy in Rome, Alain Aspect presented his book ‘If Einstein Had Known’ in a discussion on quantum and technological revolutions with journalist Marco Motta. The event was organised by the Institut français.
On 19 May, at the Palazzina dell’Auditorio of the Accademia dei Lincei (Via della Lungara 10, Rome), Aspect and Giorgio Parisi (2021 Nobel Laureate in Physics) met with secondary school students.
On 23 May, at the Fondazione Salvatore (Viale Gramsci 4) in Naples, as part of the Fondazione Salvatore’s “Sabato delle idee” series, during the event “When quantum mechanics becomes technology”, Aspect engaged in discussion with scientists from Neapolitan universities.
