Harmon Craig

HARMON CRAIG, nato a New York il 15 marzo 1926, è cittadino statunitense.

Incarico attuale: Research Professor di Geochimica e Oceanografia al Graduate Department and Geological Research Division. Scripps Institution of Oceanography, e al Revelle College, University of California a San Diego, La Jolla.

Attività accademica e di ricerca:

1951-1955: Research Associate, Enrico Fermi Institute for Nuclear Studies, University of Chicago;

dal 1955 opera allo Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California;

1965-1968: Direttore del Department of Earth Sciences, UCSD, e della Division of Earth Sciences, SIO;

Visiting Professor all’Università di Pisa, Laboratorio di Geologia Nucleare, e all’Università di Berna, Istituto di Fisica. 1971-1988: curatore di Earth and Planetary Science Letters;

1987-1997: membro della redazione di Journal of Volcanology and Geothermal Research.
