Alberto Quadrio-Curzio President of the Balzan Foundation "Prize"

On May 4, Alberto Quadrio-Curzio was elected President of the International Balzan Foundation "Prize" in Milan.

Professor Emeritus of Political Economy as well as Founder and President of the scientific Council of the Research Centre on Economic Analysis (CRANEC) at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, he is also President Emeritus of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, Rome.

Professor Quadrio-Curzio has been a Member of the Board of the Foundation "Prize" since 2006, and was Vice President from 2014 until May 2020. He succeeds Professor Enrico Decleva, whose recent passing was thoughtfully remembered by the newly elected President as he accepted the nomination.
